This is a recepie which was passed on by my mom - as the original version measures everything in wineglasses - I want to stick to the same measurement - probably they mean 250ml. (“A Viertl”)
Ingredients
- 1 kg small courgettes cut into slices / half moons
- 2 cloves of garlic cut into slices
- 10 basil leaves cut into stripes
- 3 big onions
- 2 + 1/2 wineglasses of oil (625ml - i prefer olive oil for this recepie)
- 2 + 1/2 wineglasses of vinegar (625ml - i prefer white wine oil for this recepie)
- 3 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of dried oregano
Notes
Cook for 5-10 mins and then put it into sterilized jars. (but I doubt that sterility is a big problem with this amount of vinegar)
